Hey guys. Haven't had a new journal entry in a while I make a lot of entries mostly about nothingness, fangirl-ish thing and other random crap over at my LJ now, so that usually leaves me with very little content to make an entry here with XD;

Aside from the crappy reasons for crappy activity levels of late, I hope everyone had a good holiday and a good year too. Mine was alright; a little boring and a little... expected? Nothing awesome happened, but nothing bad happened either, so I guess that's okay. 2009 was an alright year for for the most part, though after really thinking about it, I don't ever think that there could be a bad year unless you have incredibly awful luck for an entire twelve months. When you really think about it there's just so much time that you've had and things that you've done that anything distinctly 'good' or 'bad' is probably just outweighed by the other.

For me, it would be lots of stuff that happened at the beginning of the year (wedding, con, actually doing well in school, etc.) whereas the past four months have been dreadful and disheartening for me by a number of stupid decisions and actions I made (and sorely regret).

Or if you want the Teal Deer version of that that makes no connection whatsoever to what I said above, the year I say "It's been so fanstatics!11!!1" will probably either be tghe year I find myself not stuck in an eternal rut, or the apocalypse happens. XD

Anyway, second part of this thing is that I'm going to go on a bit of a hiatus from posting art here. I'm practically super behind/lazy about faving and comments on here, so that's okay (I'll try to catch up on it ). Recently I've been having one of those 'everything I do looks like crap' blocks (even when I'm past the stages where I usually think that XD and I don't know how long it will last to be honest. :/ I'm not going to stop drawing; how else am I supposed to pass the time in class? XD But I think submissions here won't be happening for a while ; And if they are, it'll probably be some Birth by Sleep fanart too XD;;

Speaking of which, and to make this entry more interesting, was there ever a series or fandom that you just fell in love with over night? XD
Mine would probably be Kingdom Hearts. I've never played the original games, never having a PS2, but I got Days after Christmas for my DS. Despite my annoyances of some parts (gameplay mostly), I really enjoyed the game and it's one of the fastest I've ever completed at two weeks! XD I'm trying to borrow a PS2 from someone now so that I can play the original games, but what I'm most looking forward is Birth by Sleep and I'm trying my damnest not to spoil it for himself XD Luckily, I've got about six months (in May! that seems to be when the release date is ^^ ) to nab myself some money for a copy and, with a little luck and smarts from Sony, a special edition PSP to play it on ^^


Mood's also stuck and I don't have the patience for DA to take it's time right now. XD;;
