Okay, so I lied on my last piece XD I started doodling on Sunday while studying and this was the result. ^^
I got into Gijinka >.< I found this webcomic called
Reversed some time last week and I fell in love with it, despite that one side is on hiatus and the other is discontinued. The story's very jumpy, but I love their styles. These girls are awesome sources of inspiration ^^
So I wanted to do some too, and relate them to some Pokemon I collect (figures make awesome quick references XD ). I would want to make a Poochyena more than a Mightyena, but I was in the mood for something a little 'older'

Kinda pleased with Yena, he looks a fair bit normal XD While colouring though he didn't remind me at all of a Mightyena until I coloured his eyes XD The red's also a bit of a random take, but I wanted some more colour in there.
I've also decided that his tail be broke, because I find that Mighties have really weird tails to draw, especially when using a figure as a ref XD
And I want to use him a bit more. I wanna make a character out of my Yena

Leafeon is
crappy as hell and semi-random. Had quite a bit of fun designing her though, especially since I had ideas for her hands, legs and hair (no ears as you can see). Quite pleased with how the green of her tail and hair came out; not pleased by the rest of her tail and hair >.< I hate doing traditional sometimes *sighs*
Dunt ask me why she's clinging to him all that much. I don't know why she would (I know it's for me to get pose practice though). She just is XD;;
Please ignore the sloppy work though. >.< I didn't have the energy last night and today to be careful and precise on this while colouring XD
"Yena", Mightyena design, Leafeon design (c) ~
Pillow--chanPokemon (c) Game Freak and Nintendo
I use a mix of prismacolour and some watercolour pencils for the colour, often blending them together, and a set of Sakura Pigma Sensei pens for inking.
Thanks, even though I find that this is one of my sloppiest colouring jobs ever XD
Oh, and you're welcome
Sakura is pretty well know/widely used. If it's got a flower logo on it and then 'Sakura' underneath then it's probably the same brand ^^
Yeah, I tend to just use watercolour pencils as regular pencils too... for one thing, not all the colours I have are watercolours
